New release: Bird Man (April '20)

The release of my next novel is slightly delayed; initially to be released in February, I decided to push it down to April. The reason isn't bad planning or anything as such, but it's just that even though the word count was there ----- the work doesn't feel finished. A novel is like a dis-covery, or an un-covery, and it just doesn't feel that I uncovered the entire work.

I can already give you a glimpse of what this next one is about. It's a size larger than The Entity and The Island; Bird Man is about a city, a metropole really , that's on its last legs. To a large part because of that, there's this bad element that gets to go wild because the authorities are no longer able to keep things in check. The Bird Man is a schizo who believes that he can talk to birds, and to that end he designed a microchip that he has let an alcoholic surgeon without a license implant in his brain. And that's just the beginning.....

Until then, I'd like to refer you to The Entity, The Island and the short read that's available on my blog: West End Mansion.... JdH.
